This is a fine book that achieved the author's stated goal, which to give the reader a chance to meet a lovely young woman whose life was ended by evil. The book also does something I didn't expect, which was to state the case for capital punishment in as clear and intelligent way as I've ever read. The author spoke with an emotional voice befitting the outrage we should all feel when reading about what evil did to an innocent.
One person found this helpful. It is hard to say something good about something that is so horrible! If you think the death penalty is a bad thing read this book. I really enjoyed this book. It has details of thing not always noted to the average citizen. It portrayed the authors deep feelings regarding the subject. I was clearly able to feel the things each person was feeling at that time.
